I want to say Pro is the default recommendation for commercial growers, but that's not always true—I've seen operations where CT actually outperformed Pro because the flexibility let them optimize by growth stage.

The one thing nobody talks about: compatibility

Here's a detail that cost me real money: Gavita Pro fixtures require specific controllers (like the Gavita Master Controller or TrolMaster adapters) to dim properly. If you're using a TrolMaster system—which many commercial greenhouses do—you need the Gavita Pro TrolMaster adapter for each fixture.

Wait, no—actually, the new Pro series (Pro RS 2400e and onward) has built-in compatibility. But the older Pro 1700e doesn't.
