If you think a top-tier top light like the Gavita 1900 is all you need for a perfect harvest, you are leaving yield on the table—and probably a lot of it.

I know, that sounds like a hot take from someone trying to sell you more lights. But take it from someone who spent four years in a 10,000 sq ft commercial facility thinking otherwise. But budget for the complete ecosystem: the controller to fine-tune the spectrum, the adapters for daisy-chaining, and absolutely, positively, the under canopy bars. Your quality perception as a grower is directly tied to the uniformity of your final product. If 30% of your harvest looks like junk, clients notice. You become the 'okay' brand.

I'd argue that a setup with a mid-tier top light and excellent under canopy management can outperform a top-tier fixture with a dark lower zone. Light is not about power; it's about penetration and distribution. The top 20% of your plant is not your harvest; the plant itself is. Feed every inch of it.
